EIR - Entrepreneurs in Residence at Chapman University at the Leatherby Center for Entrepreneurship & Business Ethics. First, we have hundreds of mentors who have volunteered to be accessible to students on an ad hoc basis. Students may ask the Director for a meeting to discuss her/his needs. The Director and faculty can advise students on the best matches for their business needs, depending on the industry and skill sets required. Second, we have a team of volunteer mentors who act as Entrepreneurs in Residence (EIRs). These folks set up regular days and times that they are available for students. They host 'office hours' in the Center team rooms so students can drop by and ask their questions and get advice.
